6/30/09 Farewell Kep’s Place!!! Early Sunday morning, Kep’s Place in Washington burnt to the ground. Sadness. Shock. Sammich and Kep’s Place have a history that is intertwined and lengthy. Many sweet memories there...some bittersweet. I think any band that has played there probably feels like they have a home there...a quality built in by Steve Kepple when he designed the place...and carried on by Steph and Brock after him. It is truly hard to believe that that familiar place is gone. Our thoughts are with those who lost their jobs and who have the hard work of re-opening. Sammich will be there to help any way we can! The Best is yet to Come! |
